Gummy Supplement Projects: Formula Brief, Testing and Manufacturing Agreement
The practical handover is a controlled product definition with named responsibilities, not an attractive prototype alone.
Transfer the approved gummy into the agreement
| Decision | Information to request | How to use the answer |
|---|---|---|
| Piece and serving | Piece weight, pieces per serving and ingredient basis | Reconcile the formulation calculation and proposed label. |
| Base and experience | Gelling system, sensory reference and appearance range | Identify which ingredient restrictions were actually assessed. |
| Process evidence | Representative sampling and relevant product checks | Ask how ingredient distribution and finished-piece results are assessed. |
| Packaging | Count, container, seal and storage proposal | Connect supporting work to the final package. |
| Responsibilities | Materials, testing, release, deviations and complaint records | Name who approves changes and investigates an unexpected result. |
Carry a gummy sample decision into the agreement
Illustrative purchasing exercise, not a customer case, test result or quotation.
A brand approves a sample’s flavour but asks to change the piece shape and retail count. Keep flavour approval separate from the changed physical and packaging requirements; “sample approved” is too broad to describe both.
- Approved: Identify the sample code and the aspects actually accepted.
- Changed: Record the shape, piece or retail-pack changes still requested.
- Production basis: Name the formula and pack revision that the order will follow.
Decision output: The agreement should resolve the remaining changes and acceptance responsibilities. Do not carry an approval from an earlier version into the order without reviewing what changed.
Record which decisions the pilot established and which commercial questions remain. If the production recipe or packing route changes, define the review before the change is used. Keep the quality handover alongside the purchase order so that quoted quantities, sample acceptance and batch-disposition responsibilities describe the same gummy.
