Supplement Contract Manufacturing for Defined Formulas
Request a manufacturing proposal for a defined formula, dosage form and pack. Send China-Shaanxi BioTech the specification you control and identify any work still needed before the product can be quoted for production.
Assign the responsibilities in the order
| Workstream | Record in the proposed scope |
|---|---|
| Materials | Who specifies, sources, approves and supplies each material. |
| Production | The named site, operations included and approved product revision. |
| Testing and release | Applicable methods, criteria, batch documents and release authority. |
| Packaging and artwork | Component supply, print approval and finished-pack responsibilities. |
| Changes and exceptions | Who approves substitutions, deviations, rework decisions and complaint follow-up. |
Compare one manufacturing basis
Separate development work from repeat production, and distinguish bulk dosage units from labelled retail packs. Request quantity per SKU, component commitments, included tests, freight terms and proposal validity. An undefined formula should first enter a scoped formulation review rather than receive a misleading unit-price comparison.
Connect documents to the proposed site and product
Ask for relevant documents by legal entity, production site, scope and validity. Connect material and batch reports to their specification and lot; do not treat a certificate logo or ingredient report as evidence for every finished product. Document access and responsibilities belong in the agreement for this order.
Control the sample-to-order handover and reorder
Reference the approved sample, formula, pack and artwork revisions in the production order. Agree the approvals and material availability that start scheduling. Define traceability, change notification and record retention responsibilities so a repeat order identifies the same authorised product. Use the packaging brief for unresolved component or artwork decisions.
Discuss the scope of your project
Provide the controlled specification, supply responsibilities, pack, quantity and delivery market. Ask for a written production scope, document requirements and scheduling dependencies.
How the agreed brief moves towards shipment
The company cooperation diagram identifies the following commercial and production stages. Use them to agree who supplies the information and which approval is needed next.
- Project briefShare the product direction, target market and intended presentation.
- Contract and depositAgree the written scope, responsibilities and payment terms.
- Design confirmationConfirm the product and packaging revisions to be used for the order.
- Production releaseAgree the remaining approvals and the scheduled production slot.
- Quality reviewReview the records and inspection scope agreed for the project.
- Balance and shipmentComplete the agreed payment and shipment arrangements.
For a starting brief, use the liquid sample checklist or discuss the oral-film format. Requirements that remain open can be identified during the sample discussion.
