Supplement Packaging Services: Bottles, Labels and Packs
Define the container, closure, artwork and packing work for a specified supplement. Send China-Shaanxi BioTech the product and pack brief so component choices and approval responsibilities can be reviewed together.
Specify the complete pack rather than a container name
| Pack element | Define for the proposal |
|---|---|
| Product quantity | Count, net weight or liquid fill volume and the retail-unit configuration. |
| Contact components | Container, closure, liner or dispenser and relevant material requirements. |
| Protection and handling | Tamper evidence, individual protection where required and transport presentation. |
| Printed materials | Artwork version, language, barcode, label/carton dimensions and finish. |
| Supply scope | Bulk components, packing work or a complete finished retail unit. |
Define the stick, print layout and retail bag separately
A portion pack has a finished shape, a print layout and a retail presentation. Keep those drawings and quantities together when requesting a quote.

- Single portionThe supplied planning note records a 10 g powder stick at 3.5 × 13 cm.
- Retail unitThe same note records 20 sticks in a 16 × 20 cm bag with a 6 cm base width.
Separate artwork records show why the finished stick width cannot be used as the full print-layout width:
| Historical artwork record | Finished stick | Recorded unfolded width |
|---|---|---|
| A | 25 × 130 mm | 60 mm |
| B | 35 × 160 mm | 80 mm |
Request the selected supplier’s drawing with the back seal, sealing areas and orientation identified. These are different historical examples, not interchangeable templates or dimensions for the concept image above.

Review the actual product and package combination
For liquid drops, include the dispensing device and serving instructions. For oral films, define strip protection and handling. Identify the container, closure and any liner or foil seal as separate components. If considering a blister, specify the unit, cavity and forming/lidding materials for review. Confirm the actual packing scope and the assessments needed for that combination.
Use the selected bottle when defining the label
The packaging worksheet lists several bottle profiles at the same volume, with different label dimensions. Link each artwork file to the selected bottle and print drawing. The entries below are historical dropper-bottle references.
| Historical bottle note | Label dimensions as recorded | Confirm before preparing artwork |
|---|---|---|
| 30 mL | 45 × 100 mm | The actual bottle reference, label panel, dimension orientation and final print drawing. |
| 60 mL | 50 × 120 mm | The selected bottle profile, printable area and the label/closure combination. |
| 120 mL | 65 × 145 mm | The actual component revision, usable panel and carton requirements. |
Source: supplied historical packaging worksheet, “Dropper bottle and box dimensions”, entries for 30, 60 and 120 mL. Dimensions are reproduced in their recorded order; no width/height orientation or universal print template is inferred. Confirm the current component and print drawing for your order.
See the bottle and closure reference photographs and include the proposed bottle, label and box in the same packing brief.
Why bottle volume does not define the label
Choose the bottle profile before commissioning the print file. These historical records show how bottles with the same nominal volume can have different diameters and label dimensions.
| Recorded volume | Bottle diameter (mm) | Recorded label dimensions (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 150 mL | 50 | 70 × 145 |
| 150 mL | 53 | 58 × 155 |
| 150 mL | 56 | 62 × 165 |
| 200 mL | 56 | 70 × 165 |
| 200 mL | 58 | 65 × 175 |
Ask for the selected component reference, usable label panel and approved drawing. Confirm dimension orientation and print tolerances with the component and label suppliers.
Source: supplied packaging worksheet dated 22 October 2025, “Regular bottle and label dimensions”, rows 8–10 and 12–13. Historical records; confirm the current bottle and print drawing. Label dimensions retain the recorded order.
A supplier’s printable height and wraparound extent describe a usable panel. Confirm the final label drawing, orientation and component revision separately. Choose the cap as part of the assembly: the supplied bottle tables note that cap styles can change overall height. Empty-bottle or cap carton records must also stay separate from finished-product shipping data.
Keep artwork approval separate from formula approval
Identify who checks mandatory text and claims for the destination market, and connect ingredient and serving text to the approved specification. Keep the print proof, component revision and approval date. A printer-ready file is not evidence of a regulatory review. Use the packaging and label planning guide to organise the review questions.

Account for component commitments and later changes
Ask for tooling or print setup, component minimums, unused-stock ownership, packing charges and exclusions. Agree what must be approved before components are ordered. Record how a component supplier, material or artwork change will be assessed and approved for a later order.
How product size and presentation change the pack
The same piece count can need a different container when capsule size or individual wrapping changes. The supplied planning notes record the examples below.
| Historical product presentation | Container noted for planning | Confirm before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| 60 size 0 hard capsules | Generally a 120 mL bottle | The actual capsule dimensions, fill and chosen bottle. |
| 60 size 00 hard capsules | Generally a 150 mL bottle | The actual capsule dimensions and packing fit. |
| 60 gummies, 3 g each, without individual wraps | 250 mL bottle | The gummy shape, handling and finished pack. |
| 60 gummies, 3 g each, individually wrapped | Generally a 750 mL bottle | The wrapped-piece dimensions and usable container space. |

For a film project, identify each strip’s protective presentation and retail count. For liquid drops, identify the assembled bottle and dispenser. Keep the finished presentation visible when comparing the quotation.
